This lawsuit challenged the City of San Ramon's approval of an EIR for a specific plan and project
approval form a major residential project at the northwest corner of the City of San Ramon's sphere of influence. The
project impinged on several ridgetops and streams, as will as interfering with an East Bay Regional Park District trail and
park area.
A settlement was reached involving the project's redesign to make it more compact and pull it away
from the sensitive ridge and creek areas. The settlement also calls for better visual screening of the new development
from surrounding areas.
